![]() Then be specific about the type of feedback you want. Feedback: do it somewhere other than facebook or YouTube.Imagine someone else is having a bad day. Generally we're not a place for you to advertise your work, and we expect everyone to be civil and generally not act like a jerk. Let me ask you: can you actually export to Local Drive using the publish command found in the context menu for the bin? Because for me, for at least the last four or five versions of MC running as First, and on a couple of different machines, it does not work for me.For people that get paid to edit film, video, television, etc. That leaves only the Publish command in the bin contex menu, which by default deselects the timeline. I have confirmed that by going back to 2022.12, where it appears under the File tab. In v 2023.03 the "Publish to" option has been removed from the drop down menu under the File tab. ![]() The only way that works for me (and this behavior has been constant through the last four or five versions of MC at least) is to first make sure that the timeline is highlighted and then choose "Publish to" in the file dropdown. The exact same thing happens if I choose the publish dialog under file and the timeline is not selected. If I try to export in that manner, I can get up the Publish dialog, asking me where to export to and what and how to export, but as soon as I hit OK the Publish dialog disappears and nothing happens. ![]() The main issue here, which I wrote about before, is that in order to actually export a file, the timeline must be highlighted, and that is impossible if one chooses the "Publish to" dialog in the bin menu, because a right click to bring up the context menu automatically deselects the timeline. It was available as a drop-down option under the "File" tab at the top, or it was available in the right-click context menu in the bin. The issue is this: earlier versions contained "Publish to" in two separate locations. ![]() In fact, I have uninstalled and gone back to 2022.12 to solve the problem. I am definitely running FIrst, as an upgrade from 2022.12.1. ![]()
